Job description
In order to provide SaaS services for the MAINSYS solutions, MAINSYS is looking for Cloud Hosting Engineers who will:
Implement, maintain, manage and monitor installed systems, infrastructure, and application deployments on the Cloud (mainly AWS)
Participate during SaaS implementation projects in the definition of the needs and the choice of the infrastructures for the MAINSYS SaaS customers
Deploy infrastructure and applications and make sure they are in line with our corporate policies
Manage that the Cloud infrastructure, systems and applications are secure, reliable, and deployed in an efficient way
Implement a comprehensive patch management strategy aligned with IT goals, plan and coordinate the deployment of patches, review reports and compliance status
Conduct security events analysis reporting, identify and manage incidents, etc.
Troubleshoot issues related to the cloud services and provide technical support and guidance to clients and other stakeholders
Aiding in shaping how IT supports the business as a whole via contributions to the service desk and the change management processes
Document and design processes / procedures and keep them up to date
Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and best practices.
We coach our new Cloud Hosting Engineers and provide them with trainings adapted to the context of the MAINSYS SaaS services and aiming at developing the required skills, both in IT and around the banking applications.
Your Profile
You are a Cloud Hosting Engineer and have a degree in computer science or equivalent
You have at least 3 years of experience as Cloud Hosting Engineer, DevOps Engineer or a similar software engineering role
You speak French and/or Dutch and are proficient in English
You have skills in cloud computing:
Practical experience and knowledge of concepts such as:
-Cloud service models
-Deployment models (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, etc.)
-Security, business continuity and compliance management
-Architecture and design
-Automation and orchestration
-Migration and integration
Proficiency in tools and platforms used in cloud computing is essential. These includes:
-Cloud service providers
-Management and monitoring tools
-Development and programming languages
-Databases and storage systems
-Networking and communication protocols
-Information security and business continuity management tools
-You are dynamic, problem solving, self-taught, customer oriented and team spirit.
